The success of Big Star Transit has been built on one foundational principle: to develop a capable, can-do national network of aspiring Owner-Operators and Small Business Enterprise partners who find purpose and joy in business ownership in the paratransit and NEMT Space. We pledge to continue this journey by: • Providing pathways to industry specific education and resources to everyday drivers in their quest to become entrepreneurs in the paratransit and NEMT space. • Developing and delivering contracting opportunities, and the capital and technical resources that Small Business Enterprises need to support contracts that would otherwise be inaccessible or difficult to maintain. • Reorganizing and redistributing the economics of the paratransit and NEMT industry to support the entrepreneurs we partner with, who in return reinvest back into their communities. Big Star is honored to be the starting point for thousands of first-time entrepreneurs in the paratransit and NEMT space, and to be able to offer a comprehensive suite of resources to support their independent business success.
