Spellar vs Hyper Pal

Spellar is a private AI meeting assistant. It records on your Mac, iPhone or iPad — no bot ever joins your call — and turns every meeting into a clear summary, action items and a searchable transcript. Works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, Discord and in-person meetings: anything your device can hear. NO BOT, YOUR DATA • On Mac, Spellar captures system audio and your mic, so no recorder shows up in the participant list • On-device transcription, plus audio controls: keep audio on your device only, or delete it right after processing • Choose your AI: Claude, GPT, Gemini or Perplexity — or bring your own API key LIVE COPILOT • On Mac, Copilot lives in the notch: timer, Ask AI and your prep in one small island • Ask AI anything during the call, or let Note Taker mode write live notes • Your meeting prep notes appear beside Copilot the moment you start recording • Detects meetings and auto-records from your Google or Outlook calendar MEMORY ACROSS MEETINGS • AI Chat across all your past meetings: "What did the client say about pricing last month?" • Weekly and monthly recaps of decisions and open action items • Speakers named from Zoom, Slack and Teams calls and from your calendar invites • Folders, tags, custom summary templates and share links SEND IT WHERE YOU WORK • Notion, Google Docs, Google Drive, Slack, Linear, Todoist, ClickUp, Google Tasks, Craft and Obsidian • With Pro: Jira, Asana, Confluence, Miro and custom webhooks • Connect Claude or ChatGPT to your meetings with the Spellar MCP server ONE ACCOUNT, EVERY DEVICE Mac, iPhone, iPad, the web app and the Chrome extension stay in sync. Trusted by thousands of people on Mac, iPhone and iPad. New accounts get 300 free minutes of transcription and AI, no card needed. Spellar Pro keeps it going after that, with every AI model and the Pro integrations. SUBSCRIPTION Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
