A traditional Japanese parlour game, played to the beat. Konpira Fune Fune is an ozashiki asobi — a banquet game from Kotohira, still played there today to the folk song of the same name. Two players take turns on the beat, reaching for a single cup or leaving it where it is. Misjudge whether it's there, and you lose. HOW TO PLAY • When the cup is on the table, take it — or leave it with an open hand • When you're holding it, keep it — or put it back • When your opponent has it, only a fist is safe: an open hand grabs at nothing • Hold the cup too many turns in a row, or miss your beat, and you lose • The longer you last, the faster the beat WAYS TO PLAY • Tabletop — lay an iPad or an unfolded iPhone Duo flat between you and sit across from each other. One table, one cup. • Bluetooth Battle — two iPhones, face to face. No internet needed. • Play vs Watch — one player on Apple Watch, one on the paired iPhone. • Solo — 15 levels, plus an endless mode on Easy, Normal or Hard. • How to Play — a short tutorial on the real board. No clock, no penalty. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Stand it half-open like a laptop, and your opponent appears on the upper screen, sitting across the table from you. NO SIGNAL, NO ADS The idea came on a flight, so every mode plays offline. There are no ads, and every skin can be earned just by playing. In English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Swedish.
