AC-130 GUNSHIP SIMULATOR It's the middle of the night. You're the sensor operator and gunner aboard a gunship, orbiting a target area in a slow left-hand turn. You watch the infrared feed, work out what you're looking at from what it does, get your clearance — and decide whether to fire. This isn't a shooter with a gunship level. It's the AC-130 itself: the orbit, the sensor, the guns, and the weight of the call. THE ORBIT IS THE ANTAGONIST The aircraft never stops turning. Lay the reticle on a target and the geometry moves under you — degrees of arc go by while the round is still in the air. Holding a target costs constant attention. That single fact is what makes this a simulator instead of a top-down shooter. IDENTIFICATION IS THE GAME The gun is easy. Deciding whether is hard. A truck that might be a fuel bowser and might be a water truck. A crowd that isn't a target until it fires. You read the picture, you ask for clearance, and you live with what you cleared. EVERY MISS HAS A REASON You led it wrong. The round has a long flight time. The orbit carried you off the mark. Nothing is a black box — real retardation ballistics, real time of flight, real lead. THE GUNS - 7.62 mm minigun — always yours - 20 mm and 40 mm cannon - 105 mm howitzer REAL TERRAIN The sensor feed is built on public-domain USGS aerial photography — actual ground, seen the way the sensor sees it. WHAT YOU GET - Endless arenas: hold out against escalating waves and see how long you last - Campaign: a full tour, one score, beat your best - Three sensor modes — day, white-hot, black-hot FREE TO PLAY Free to download and play. A single one-time unlock removes ads, gives unlimited ammunition on every gun, and unlocks the 105 mm howitzer for good. Or watch an optional rewarded ad to arm the howitzer for one sortie. A fictional theater and a physics-and-identification sandbox, built for the feel of the real thing.

Verdict
Warzone Commander and AC are too close to call on the numbers: across 5 compared parameters — price, ads, in-app purchases and device support among them — neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Warzone Commander sells 35 one-off in-app purchases and AC sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
