The clearest difference is in-app purchases: WAVES PB at none against RexTrix's 10. WAVES PB also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 50%). Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. RexTrix sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. WAVES PB asks for nothing beyond the download.
RexTrix holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 18 and 17 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of WAVES PB's written reviews are positive against 50% of RexTrix's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WAVES PB ships an update monthly, RexTrix weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
