A world map with no names and no borders, and one place to find on it. GeoTarget gives you a name — Lima, the Taj Mahal, Ulaanbaatar — and you have to place it. You drop a circle on the map and choose its radius: wide if you're unsure, tight if you're confident. The radius decides your score. A circle 50 km across earns 1,000 points. A 3,000 km circle earns 100. And if the target lands outside your circle, you get zero, no matter how close you were. A bonus is added when the center lands within 50 km of the place. So knowing roughly where a country is won't get you very far for long. WHAT THERE IS TO FIND 971 places, in four categories: - 162 countries, without their borders - 161 capitals - 471 cities - 177 landmarks and sites After each answer, the place appears with its photo and a few lines about what makes it special. GAMES Games of 5, 10 or 15 questions, on easy, medium or hard. You can limit the draw to one continent, or even to a few countries, to practice a region you don't know well. Three map styles: blank, street map or satellite. DAILY LEADERBOARD A global leaderboard resets every day. You submit your score under any nickname you like. Your personal bests are kept separately, for each game format. OFFLINE Places, photos and flags are built into the app. The game runs without a network — only the daily leaderboard needs a connection. LANGUAGES French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese. The app is universal: iPhone and iPad.
