Before cell phones, before social media, we were Cornhole Kings. It's the summer of 1988 in Meriden, Connecticut, and twelve-year-old Jack has a bean bag, a nervous heart and one long summer to find his Courage. Cornhole Kings is a pixel-art story adventure about growing up in the 80s, friendship, first love and the power of the bean bag. It's partially true. Names have been changed to protect the guilty. CORNHOLE LIKE YOU'VE NEVER PLAYED IT Pull back, flip and throw. How far you flick picks your shot: a high LOB, a TOSS or a hard DRIVE. Then take it everywhere: a backyard birthday duel with your little brother, Dad's tree house, a snowed-in Summer Christmas, a bubble gum filled Wonderland dream, a graveyard at midnight and a match on the moon at half gravity. Every duel switches ends each round, just like the real game, with a whole new view from the other board. MINIGAME MAYHEM Every chapter finds a new way to play: • Sidewalk Dash: jump and slide to catch her bus • BMX Street Race: weave through traffic and bump your rivals • Board Invaders: bean bags vs. cornhole-board spaceships • Zombie Mania: bonk the rising dead before they bite, and survive until sunrise • MoonWalk: bags hop right off the board, and Al Lien spits goo on your visor • Raiders of the Lost Bag: outrun a boulder through a jungle temple • Jousts, races, dream worlds and more, all built around the humble bean bag SPECIAL BAGS Earn the Sinker, Gasoline, Honey, Gum, Bomb, Glow and Moon bags as the story goes on. Each one changes the game, and they all come with you into Quick Play. QUICK PLAY & RUNS Set up a single match your way: opponent, rules, setting, length and bag, or two players on one device. Or start a RUN at Bramble Hill Orchard and beat the whole neighborhood in the fewest bags, one hour of the day at a time, from a calm dawn through wind, rain, a thunderstorm and a last match under car headlights. Post your score to Game Center leaderboards and chase achievements like 12 cornholes in a row. PURE 16-BIT NOSTALGIA Custom pixel art and an original chiptune soundtrack that feels like a cartridge you just blew the dust out of. PLAY YOUR WAY • iPhone, iPad and Mac • Use your iPhone as a game controller for your iPad: D-pad, A and B buttons, no pairing codes • On Mac, play with the keyboard and flick throws on the trackpad • Plays fully offline • Retries get gentler, so you'll never be stuck FREE TO START The Prologue, Chapter 1 and Quick Play against the family are free. One $1.99 purchase unlocks the rest of the story, six more Quick Play opponents, kingdom runs and the Tournament of Champions, on all your devices. No ads. No subscriptions. No tracking. Grab a bean bag. Find your Courage. Become a King.
