MARTA Mobility also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). MyGCO's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 38%). Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MARTA Mobility holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MARTA Mobility has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of MyGCO's written reviews are positive against 38% of MARTA Mobility's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MyGCO ships an update every 2 months, MARTA Mobility monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
