Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TodayTix at 4.9 against A2D2's 3.0. TodayTix also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (64K vs 2). A2D2's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 74%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TodayTix holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TodayTix has 64K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of TodayTix's written reviews are positive against 100% of A2D2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
TodayTix ships an update every 3 days, A2D2 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
