Analog warmth meets flexible routing and dynamic modulation in a filter workstation built for creative sound design. Analog-Modelled Filters Quantum Filter uses resonant, analog-modelled filter designs that behave smoothly and musically across the entire spectrum. With no cramping, stepping, or digital artefacts, the filters remain stable even under rapid modulation. At high resonance settings they can reach self-oscillation, similar to classic hardware circuits. Filter Types & Routing Choose from 11 filter modes, including Lowpass, Highpass, Bandpass, Notch, Shelving options, Bell, and Ladder Lowpass in 1–4 pole configurations. Combine filters in series (up to three stages) or parallel (up to two), resulting in over 2,000 possible routing combinations for detailed tone shaping and complex layered filtering. Built for Modulation Designed to handle fast, artefact-free modulation, Quantum Filter responds cleanly even under rapid parameter changes. Its stability makes it suitable for dynamic environments, rhythmic modulation, or complex movement across multiple filter stages. Stereo and Dual Mono Switch between stereo and dual mono modes to shape the stereo image. In dual mono mode, left and right channels can move independently, enabling asymmetric movement, wider imaging, or separate modulation paths for each side. MIDI Control Quantum Filter integrates ADSR & AR modulators that respond directly to MIDI, allowing envelope-driven filter motion that behaves like a synthesizer’s filter section. This integration adds expressive control for rhythmic gating, animated sweeps, and dynamic shaping based on your playing or sequencing. Quantum Filter is an AUv3 audio effect plugin compatible with Logic Pro, AUM, Cubasis, GarageBand and many more. A Desktop version is also available for Windows and macOS (VST3 / AU / AAX). NEW IN 4.0 — GROOVE BENCH Extract the timing and velocity feel of a MIDI passage and apply it to another part. Save up to 64 local templates; choose independent timing and dynamics strengths, review the verified edit, compare original/edit audition and undo. Pitches and note durations stay intact. Empty reference cells leave target notes unchanged. PPQN files only; repeating cycles use quarter notes from file start, independently of time signature. Controllers and pedal events stay in place. Shape a MIDI performance while keeping its imported original intact. Midiary is an offline editor and inspector for Standard MIDI Files on iPhone and iPad. MAKE MUSICAL CORRECTIONS Select tracks and channels, transpose by semitones, adjust note velocity, or move note starts toward straight and triplet timing grids. Variable quantize strength keeps partial timing adjustments possible. Drum protection excludes channel 10 from batch edits. EDIT THE EXACT NOTE Search by pitch, filter the note list, and page through long files. Change a note's pitch, velocity, start tick and duration. Review actual changed-note counts, timing movement and velocity limiting before saving. Ambiguous note overlaps and unsafe edits are blocked with an explanation. KEEP THE ORIGINAL Imported MIDI bytes stay unchanged. Editing sessions save locally with undo and redo that survive closing the app. Restore the original as an undoable step. History keeps up to 20 edits within a 48 MB budget, with the imported original retained separately. Damaged sessions are preserved for recovery. LISTEN AND COMPARE Hear the original or edited take from the beginning using the same neutral studio tone, with play, pause, stop and seeking. Audition helps compare notes and timing; it does not reproduce an external instrument's programs, drum sounds or SysEx settings. Format 2 files are auditioned one independent sequence at a time. INSPECT THE FILE Explore track and channel summaries, note ranges, tempo changes, time and key signatures, markers, structural findings and a channel-colored piano roll. The event desk includes tick positions and seconds. Metrical and SMPTE timing are supported, including independent format 2 sequence clocks. EXPORT YOUR WORK Share the untouched original, edited MIDI, or event CSV. A separate cleaned export can add missing End-of-Track events and close hanging notes when the file can be safely normalized. Untouched text and SysEx payload bytes are preserved during musical edits. Start with your own .mid or .midi file, or use the bundled Nocturne sample and in-app guide. Imports support up to 8 MB, 1,024 tracks and 100,000 events. Playback runs in the foreground. No account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising or tracking. MIDI files and editing sessions remain local unless you choose to export or share them. No microphone recording or external MIDI transmission.
