A terrifying text-based horror RPG. A modern twist on the classic "choose your own adventure" books. You wake up in an abandoned asylum with no memory. The doors are locked. The air smells of rot. Something lurks in the shadows. This is Angor โ an interactive survival game where your decisions shape the outcome. Inspired by the classic gamebooks of the past, but enhanced for the smartphone era with immersive sound, modern UI, and a chilling storyline. * Solve complex puzzles and unsolved mysteries * Engage in tactical, turn-based dice combat * Choose where to block or strike: head, body, or legs * Use your inventory like in a point-and-click adventure * Explore haunted rooms, discover runes and alchemy secrets * Face terrifying enemies: ghouls, zombies, and worse * Experience immersive audio, voice effects, and jump scares * Deep narrative: multiple paths, dark fantasy atmosphere, old-school feel This is not just another text RPG โ it's an escape horror game where your memory is blank, but every choice carves your path. With realistic inventory use, no hand-holding, and a system that rewards clever players, Angor is as much about thinking as surviving. Fans of The Room, murder mysteries, scary escape games, and interactive novels will feel at homeโฆ if they can make it out alive. Play with headphones. Play in the dark. If you dare. No ads. No mercy. Just terror. Can you escape the nightmare of Angor?

In 1980, a programmer named Donald Brown sat down at an Apple II and built something remarkable โ a text adventure system he called Eamon. It wasn't just a game. It was a world: a Main Hall where adventurers gathered, a weapon shop, a bank, a wizard who'd teach you spells. And beyond the hall, a growing library of dungeons and quests that anyone could explore, or build. Brown gave Eamon away. No copyright, no charge, no conditions โ just an invitation to play and create. Over the following decade, volunteers wrote more than 250 adventures and shared them freely. Eamon became one of the earliest examples of an open, community-driven game ecosystem. Eamon 2K26 brings that world to iPhone, faithful to Brown's original vision. โ Create your adventurer and equip them at the Main Hall โ Explore dungeons with Brown's original combat mathematics, preserved exactly โ Earn gold, bank it, improve your weapons skills and armor expertise โ Face monsters that fight back intelligently, flee when outmatched, and drop their purses when they fall โ Find weapons, treasures, and curious artifacts โ and decide what to carry home The game ships with three adventures from the original Eamon library, including Brown's own Beginner's Cave โ the same dungeon Apple II players first explored in 1980. More adventures can be created with the companion app, Dungeon Designer Diskette, a free iPad tool for building your own Eamon worlds. Eamon 2K26 is free, contains no advertisements, and collects no data. It is offered as a tribute to Donald Brown and to everyone who kept his creation alive.
