Sammy's Palate is a macro and nutrition tracker built for UC Santa Cruz dining halls. Every day, the app pulls live menus from every UCSC dining hall and coffee shop, so you can browse what's being served today, or check ahead to tomorrow and the day after so you're never caught off guard. Filter by dining hall, meal period, and station (Grill, Salad Bar, Cereal, Condiments, and more). KNOW WHAT YOU'RE EATING Tap any food item to see its real ingredient list from UCSC Dining, plus allergens and dietary icons like vegetarian and gluten-friendly. No more guessing what's in the food. EAT YOUR WAY Choose a diet type (vegetarian or vegan) and mark the allergens you avoid: milk, egg, wheat, gluten, soy, sesame, peanut, tree nut, fish, or shellfish. The menu shows only items that fit your diet and hides anything containing your allergens. YOUR DINING DAY, AT A GLANCE Drag the wave marker along the day track to see where you are in today's dining hours, or tap any meal period to preview its menu. Overnight, Sammy takes a nap. TRACK EVERY MACRO Found something you're eating? Log it in a couple of taps, adjust your serving size, and watch your daily calories, protein, carbs, and fat update instantly. Logged the wrong thing? One swipe removes it. Set personalized daily targets based on your age, height, weight, and goals, or set your own manually, and track your progress with live rings for each macro. Review your history anytime with a full calendar view, showing how close you got to your goals on any past day. Features: - Live daily menus for every UCSC dining hall - Browse today, tomorrow, and the day after in advance - Real ingredient lists, allergens, and dietary icons for every item - Diet and allergen filters (vegetarian, vegan, and 10 allergens to avoid) - Search and filter by dining hall, meal period, and station - Interactive day track: drag or tap to preview any meal's menu - One-tap food logging with adjustable serving sizes - Swipe to delete logged meals - Real-time calorie and macro tracking - Personalized daily targets - Progress rings and history calendar - Sign in with email Built by a UCSC student, for UCSC students.
