You wake with nothing but a headache. Find food, water and a weapon before dark — because after dark, they can hear you. Salvage is a top-down pixel survival game about one bad week in a dead country. Scavenge, craft, build somewhere to hide, and try to make it to the helicopter. — NO ADS. NO TIMERS. NO ENERGY TO BUY — Play the first seven days free. One optional purchase unlocks the rest, forever. Nothing in this game is sold to you twice, and nothing you can buy makes you stronger. SCAVENGE 36 hand-tuned procedural areas across 12 kinds of terrain — pine forest, flooded swamp, dead suburbs, a burnt-out factory, a military airfield. 158 items to find: fire axes, hunting rifles, canned food, antibiotics, gas masks, a fishing rod. Search cars, lockers, med boxes and ammo crates. The best loot is where the worst crowds are. CRAFT 64 recipes. Tear cloth into rags, rags into bandages. Smelt scrap into ingots. Nail a bat. Boil water over a fire. Dry meat into jerky so it keeps. BUILD 21 structures. Raise wooden or metal walls, hang a door, lay a floor, light a campfire, set a bear trap. Build crates, lockers and shelves that keep your things between sessions. Sleep in a bed you made and you'll wake there if you die. THEY HUNT PROPERLY The infected are not radar. They have vision cones and cannot see behind themselves. Walls block their line of sight and muffle sound. Darkness hides you — unless you're carrying a torch, which makes you the brightest thing for streets around. Creep and they may not notice; sprint on concrete and they will. Break their line of sight and they'll search where they last saw you, then give up and wander home. DYING ISN'T THE END Drop everything where you fell and go back for it. But you only get one pile — die again first and it's gone for good. GET OUT One ending, and it is brutally hard. Salvage a transmitter from a military ruin, build a signal beacon, plant it at the extraction zone and hold the ground for three and a half minutes while everything on the map walks toward you. Then board the helicopter. Only a real escape puts a score on the board. ALSO • Day and night with real lighting, plus rain and fog • Hunger, thirst, warmth, bleeding and infection • 8 perks across 11 levels • Deer, wolves, boar, and other survivors who shoot back • Plays entirely offline. No account, no internet, no data collected. • Built for touch: move with the left thumb, one big ATTACK button for the right How long can you last?
