Student Roost vs Connester

Say hello to the all-in-one Student Roost app, designed to make living with us as simple as possible.    Get to know your neighbours, find out more about events happening in your property, get notified about your parcels and even track your payments all from the palm of your hand with our brand new resident app.

Old-school networking is broken. It’s time for an upgrade. Connester isn't just about adding connections. It’s an all-in-one ecosystem for Gen Z to Learn, Earn, and Meet in the real world. While other apps focus on boring resumes and corporate ladders, we focus on Web Portfolios, Freelance Freedom, and Local Events. HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT: Find Events (Go Offline) Don't just chat online. Discover the nearest hackathons, workshops, and startup meetups. We help you bridge the gap between digital connections and real-life opportunities. Be Your Own Boss (Freelance) Why wait for a job? Find freelance gigs and independent projects immediately. Whether you are a designer, coder, or writer, use your profile to attract clients and start earning on your own terms. Web Portfolio > Resume Static PDFs are outdated. We auto-generate a dynamic Web Portfolio for you. It’s a shareable link that showcases your skills, projects, and certifications in a way that actually impresses clients and startups. Upskill & Apply Don't just look for work; get ready for it. Browse top-rated courses, upgrade your skills, and showcase your new certifications directly on your profile to stand out. Showcase Proof-of-Work Talk is cheap. Use the Showcase feed to post videos, designs, and code. Startups on Connester hire based on what you can do, not just where you studied. Connect with Purpose Build a network of "doers." Connect with students, mentors, and founders who are actually active. No spam, no clutter—just people looking to build and collaborate. WHO IS THIS FOR? Freelancers: Who want clients, not bosses. Students: Who want internships and local events. Learners: Who want to find the right courses. Startups: Who want to hire talent with proven skills. Ready to do more than just "connect"? Download Connester. Find Events. Build Your Portfolio. Be Your Own Boss.
