RAW Keeper

RAW Keeper cleans up the RAW files filling your storage — and leaves every favorite photo alone. For everyone who shoots with a camera and keeps their pictures in Apple Photos. WHY RAW KEEPER • 100% on your iPhone, iPad and Mac — no server, no upload, no account • No subscription, no running costs — buy once, Family Sharing included • No data collection, no trackers — your photos stay your photos AFTER EVERY SHOOT Mark your favorites, tap “New since …”, done. RAW Keeper finds the new RAW+JPEG pairs since your last search — in seconds instead of hours. YOU DECIDE WHAT STAYS Keep the picture and remove the RAW (saves the most; the picture is re-saved once at 90% quality) — or keep the RAW and remove the JPEG (lossless, saves a bit less). Favorites always keep both. SAFE BY DESIGN Before/after comparison for every photo. Every change is re-checked immediately beforehand. Originals stay in “Recently Deleted” for 30 days. Shared Library: the replacement lands in your personal library, in the album “RAW Keeper – Converted” (videos: “– Compressed”) — from there it can be moved back to the Shared Library. ALSO: VIDEOS AND LIVE PHOTOS Large, non-favorite videos are re-saved efficiently as HEVC — only if the result is truly smaller. RAW Keeper also finds exact duplicates and accidental clips under 2 seconds; one copy of each duplicate always stays. And if you like, turn Live Photos into regular photos: the picture stays with HDR, portrait depth, date, location and albums, only the short motion goes — usually around 2 MB per photo. Both only when you explicitly choose them. TRY FREE — UNLOCK ONCE Scanning, savings analysis, previews and single-item tests are free. The full version unlocks unlimited clean-up — on iPhone, iPad and Mac.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Plex Photos at none against RAW Keeper's 1. RAW Keeper's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
