Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gradepen at 57% against Minha Biblioteca's 16%. Gradepen also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). Minha Biblioteca's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gradepen sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Minha Biblioteca asks for nothing beyond the download.
Minha Biblioteca holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Minha Biblioteca has 20 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Gradepen's written reviews are positive against 16% of Minha Biblioteca's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Gradepen ships an update every 6 weeks, Minha Biblioteca every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
