It’s a good time to play something different (and chaotic). Get ready for a juicy letter stacking game never seen before! •How do I play? Type and spawn letters, then rotate to adjust their position and ultimately stack them in order to create various words depending on the level. Keep the balance for a few seconds to complete the level •Who is this for? The game applies for both gamers and non-gamers, a quick break from the daily hustle and bustle. •Challenging? There’s difficulty for everyone and it increases gradually. The various hazards provide an extra level of difficulty but do not worry, if you get stuck, any level can be skipped. •Features: - Plenty of hazards that provide variety and challenges - Environment and character cosmetics! - Relaxing Lo-fi beats. - Dozens of levels to unlock and more being added monthly! - Quirky graphics - Game Center. - Haptic Feedback. (can turn on/off). - Optimized for all devices; - Simple controls, suitable for any age. - Play Offline, no internet connection required to play. (flying much?) - No violence, stress-free; play at your own pace. - Not collecting any personal data. No ads. •Developer notes: Thank you for playing “Letter Burp”. Perfect for quick gaming sessions or those moments when you just need one more try after a close call! Featuring a 1-bit minimalist aesthetic inspired by classic handheld LCD games, vintage brick game consoles, calculator games, old keypad phones, and the timeless charm of palm computers and early portable gaming devices, Climb Knight blends that nostalgic pixel art charm with the fun challenge of a true high-score chaser. Why you’ll love it: Global leaderboards: The higher you climb, and the more levels you conquer, the better your high score. How high can you go? Haptic feedback: Feel every moment! Satisfying haptic feedback makes every collectible pulse in your hands, while traps and monsters deliver an extra punch when they catch you. Unlockable characters: Collect and play with multiple pixel art characters as you progress. Retro feel: Inspired by the 80s arcade era, with LCD game pixel graphics and chiptune music to match. Challenge friends: Share your high score and challenge your friends to beat it. Tarsier Tales: Meet the tarsiers, learn their story, and learn about protecting their home through ten exciting platforming levels! Three Unlockable Mini-Games: Earn your right to play them; they do not reveal themselves easily: 1. Run Knight – Run and jump over obstacles in this endless test of reflexes. 2. Floppy Bat – Guide a fragile bat through a gauntlet of deadly spikes. Precision is survival. 3. Squirmy Worm – A slithering creature moves forward, unable to turn back. Just like you. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Letter Burp at none against Climb Knight's shown. Letter Burp also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). Climb Knight's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (254 vs 11). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Letter Burp sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Climb Knight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Climb Knight holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Climb Knight has 254 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Letter Burp's written reviews are positive against 84% of Climb Knight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Letter Burp ships an update daily, Climb Knight every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
