Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Baja Fresh holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baja Fresh has 1.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Baja Fresh's written reviews are positive against 50% of That Smash Stack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Baja Fresh ships an update every 3 weeks, That Smash Stack every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
