Your library, your server, every Apple screen. MytView is the companion app for the self-hosted MytView server. Run the server on your own hardware (Docker), sign in, and your video library is on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. Without your own server there is nothing to play. WATCH • Resume anywhere; your place syncs through your server • Subtitles and audio tracks, with caption settings that follow you • AirPlay, Picture in Picture and background audio on iPhone and iPad • Plays what your device can, converts on the fly what it can't TAKE IT WITH YOU (iPhone and iPad) • Keep any movie or episode on your device and watch it with no signal • Follow a series or channel: the next episodes you haven't watched are kept ready • Offline mode shows just what's on your device; watched copies clean themselves up • Copies are made in the format your device plays, in the background, over Wi‑Fi unless you allow cellular BROWSE • Recent, channels, series and film collections, with artwork • Sort and genre remembered per library, shared across your devices • Search by title, jump in by tag, mark watched from the grid • Up next when a video ends; chapters for long ones SHARE THE HOUSE • A sign-in, watch history and private collections for each person • Pair the Apple TV by scanning a code with your iPhone. No typing. • Per-video share links PRIVATE BY DESIGN No cloud, no analytics, no ads. The app talks only to your server; your videos never leave your hardware.
