PlanIT – Plans on Planets is a visual planning platform based on academic research on working memory and visual attention. It transforms traditional project management into an intuitive, engaging experience. Users can manage simple tasks using small planets, build complex projects using large planets, create planets with tailored health structures and keep track of their progress, or create entire solar systems to capture different areas of life. It can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Integrating project management, task execution, scheduling, health planning, progress tracking and modular productivity tools within a single ecosystem, PlanIT reduces the need for multiple applications while providing a more engaging and effective approach to organisation. The space themed world building allows the user to see all their projects as constellations and the unique tag and search engine allows the user to identify patterns across projects.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Tick at Free against PlanIT's $1.99. Tick also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). PlanIT's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
