Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: FitHub at 4.8 against MenuAI's 3.0. FitHub also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 2) and chart position (#155 vs unranked). MenuAI's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (50% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FitHub sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and MenuAI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
FitHub holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FitHub has 25K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of FitHub's written reviews are positive against 50% of MenuAI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
