About

HearTomo

HearTomo is an app that works with Apple Health to perform 1/f fluctuation slope, Lorenz plot, and emotion analysis from ECG data from Apple Watch. 1/f Fluctuation Slope Value The heartbeat interval RRI data is converted to power spectral density PSD and the 1/f fluctuation slope value is calculated. You can see the value change over time in a graph: day, week, month, 6 months, and 1 year. Lorenz Plot One of the time domain indicators of autonomic nerve activity, RRI(n) is the interval between the nth heartbeat and the heartbeat before it. The value of RRI(n) is plotted on the x-axis and the value of RRI(n+1) on the y-axis. Order-made Emotion Analysis The accumulated data of the user is learned and updated daily to estimate emotions that suit the individual. The activity status of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves is classified into four states: "Both nerves are high", "Only sympathetic nerves are high", "Only parasympathetic nerves are high", and "Both nerves are low". Emotions are estimated as "inner voice". HearTomo's basic technology HearTomo development is based on the heart rate data analysis system patent 6430729 in collaboration with ZMP and Mr. Osaka Motohisa (graduate of the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Science, University of Tokyo and the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Nippon Medical School, currently Professor Emeritus, Nippon Veterinary and Life Science University). Mr. Osaka Motohisa conducted heart rate fluctuation analysis using his own calculation formula and an algorithm for spectral analysis of heart rate variability developed by Professor Ronald Berger from Johns Hopkins University Hospital. To improve the accuracy of the analysis, let's capture a clean heart rate waveform. Fix your arm on a table or your knee, and keep your fingers still for 30 seconds. After scrolling down to see the measurement results and tapping 'Done,' perform another 30-second measurement. A total of 4 repetitions, requiring 2 minutes of data, is necessary, and compared to other apps' 30-second measurements, HearTomo offers 4 times higher accuracy. Try to perform 4 consecutive measurements without leaving too much time between them. About

Cubby Baby Tracker

Features

Cubby is the baby tracker for the 3am version of you. Every other tracker is bright, pastel and built for daylight. Cubby is dark by default, because the job happens in a blacked-out nursery with one hand free. No account. No sign-up. No email. No ads. Open it, log the feed, and go back to bed. ONE DIAL FOR THE WHOLE DAY Cubby draws your baby's day as a 24-hour clock. Sleep shows as arcs, feeds as spokes, changes as pips on the rim. One look tells you what kind of night that was โ€” something no list of rows has ever managed. IT LEARNS WHEN THE NAP IS COMING Cubby measures your baby's actual wake windows and tells you when the next nap is likely, with an honest window rather than false precision. Until there's enough history it falls back to age guidance and says so. Most trackers put nap prediction behind a monthly plan; Cubby has no subscription at all. IT ALSO LEARNS THE FEEDS Next feed predicted from the median gap between recent feeds. FAST WHEN YOU'RE WRECKED โ€ข One tap starts and stops the sleep timer โ€ข Two taps log a bottle, a nursing session or a diaper โ€ข Big targets, tabular numerals, no hunting TRACK EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS Bottles, nursing timers per side, solids, sleep, diapers, pumping, weight, length, head circumference, temperature and medicines. MILESTONES AND SHOTS CDC milestone checklists by age and the routine childhood immunisation schedule, ticked off as you go. Most trackers skip both entirely. REAL WHO GROWTH CENTILES Weight, length and head plotted against the actual WHO Child Growth Standards โ€” 3rd to 97th centile bands with the median through the middle, and your baby's centile named beside each reading. Built from WHO's own published tables, not an approximation. TWINS WELCOME Each baby gets their own log; switch with a tap. REMINDERS, ON DEVICE Optional nudges when a feed is likely due or the nap window opens. Scheduled on your iPhone โ€” no push server involved. BUILT BY ONE PERSON I built Cubby in a year when AI finally made something like this achievable alone โ€” then kept building whatever parents asked for. No team, no investors, and no roadmap written by anyone but the people using it. And no subscription: logging your own baby's nights shouldn't cost a monthly fee. YOUR LOG STAYS YOURS Every feed, sleep and diaper you log stays on your iPhone โ€” export the whole log whenever your pediatrician asks. No tracking of you across other companies' apps or websites, and nothing shared with data brokers. TELL ME WHAT TO BUILD See something in another baby tracker that you wish this one had? Email mark@vibecode.review. I read every message and I build what people actually ask for โ€” that is how most of this app got here. Cubby describes what you logged and estimates from your own data. It is not medical advice. Growth centiles come from the WHO Child Growth Standards and are there for context, not diagnosis โ€” always talk to your pediatrician about anything that worries you.

Verdict

The call

HearTomo and Cubby Baby Tracker are too close to call on the numbers: across 6 compared parameters โ€” price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases among them โ€” neither pulls far enough ahead to decide it. What separates them is feature set and interface, not measurable difference.
