Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Siam Inter Comics at none against Tachimanga's shown. Siam Inter Comics also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Tachimanga's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (5.6K vs 9). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Siam Inter Comics sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Tachimanga sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Siam Inter Comics against 4.8 for Tachimanga. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tachimanga has 5.6K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 76% and 76% positive.
Siam Inter Comics ships an update every 10 months, Tachimanga every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
