Control connects directly over your local network, so you never have to install or run a companion app. 【NEW】Control any app, video, or website with Keyboard controls. Re-arrange your keypad and add the commands (and shortcuts!) that are useful to you. Additionally, Control always supports system-level volume controls and *direct* playback controls for the following apps: • TV.app • Music.app • QuickTime Player • VLC • IINA • mpv • Spotify • Safari (experimental) No subscriptions, no payments, no ads, no tracking. Control is privacy-first and doesn't collect any data. It connects directly across your local network, so your information never even touches the internet. Need more Control? Send a request anytime. I'd love to make the app as useful as possible. Note: Control’s connection to your Mac is managed via built-in macOS permissions. Once accepted, Control will work forever with no additional setup. It requires being on the same network and enabling Remote Access. Some VPN clients may interfere, depending on settings. Powered by AppleScript.

About

Rapture

Say "Hey Siri, Rapture this" and just talk. Rapture records, stops when you stop speaking, and turns your words into a clean, organized note. You never touch the phone. YOUR NOTES SHOW UP WHERE YOU NEED THEM This is the part no other voice app does: finished notes can send themselves. Your shopping list lands in Google Tasks. Meeting notes land in Google Drive. Ideas land in Slack, Notion, or on your Mac, on their own, seconds after you stop talking. You speak once; Rapture files it for you. NOTHING TO SET UP, NOTHING TO CLEAN UP - Works completely hands-free: in the car, on a walk, carrying groceries - Recording stops on its own when you stop talking - Filler words removed, grammar fixed, a title added - To-dos become checkboxes, and a Tasks tab collects every open to-do across all your notes MEETINGS, TOO Tap Record meeting, or say "Hey Siri, Rapture this meeting." Rapture records for up to 3 hours, keeps going with your phone locked, and gives you the full transcript with each speaker labeled. Ask for a summary and you get an overview, the decisions, and the to-dos with who will do them. PRIVATE, FOR REAL Everything happens on your iPhone. Your voice is never uploaded to be transcribed, and no internet connection is needed to record, transcribe, or format a note. There's no account to create, and no company server holding your thoughts. Notes leave your phone only when you tell Rapture where to send them. For the technically minded: speech-to-text runs on the Apple Neural Engine and formatting runs on a local AI model, fully offline. 25 LANGUAGES, ALL ON-DEVICE Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, and Ukrainian. FREE FOREVER Recording, transcription, formatting, search, tasks, and your full note history are free. So is sharing by hand: share sheet, email, or iMessage. ONE PURCHASE, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION A single one-time purchase turns on automatic delivery: your Mac (with the free Rapture for Mac app), Google Drive, iCloud Drive, Slack, Discord, Google Tasks, and Notion. Smart routing sends the right kind of note to the right place, and if a send ever fails, one tap retries it. One thing to know: Rapture needs about 1.4 GB of speech and formatting models. On iOS 26 they arrive with the App Store install, so there is nothing to wait for. On earlier iOS versions they download once on first launch (Wi-Fi recommended). Either way, no connection is needed to capture afterward. Your first meeting adds a small speaker model, about 20 MB. Rapture is for people who think faster than they type, and whose ideas deserve to end up somewhere useful, not in a pile of recordings.
