Sonofield Ear Trainer vs Cratedex

Sonofield Ear Trainer (SET) is a revolutionary ear training app designed to help you intuitively play the melodies you hear and imagine. Instead of relying on traditional old methods like intervals, SET focuses on helping you feel the unique character of each note within a key. By using sustained drones to create a tonal foundation, you’ll learn to recognize scale degrees based on their *feeling*, not just how they sound. The app offers a variety of ways to train: * Degrees Mode - Identify individual notes against the drone by feeling. The heart of SET. * Melody Mode - Identify short melodic phrases, preparing you for real music. * Voice Mode - Sing the requested scale degree into your microphone. * Pocket Mode - Hands-free training for when you're on the go. * Free Play - An interactive instrument for exploration. With its intuitive, color-coded interface, thoughtfully designed progression path, and multiple difficulty levels, SET adapts to your skill level while keeping practice engaging. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced musician, SET is your guide to unlocking true musical fluency through intuitive, feeling-based ear training. No ads or forced payments. The free version contains full foundations for feeling-based ear training. Download the ear training app now!

Cratedex is where you say what you thought of an album, and find out what everyone else thinks. Rate one, write a few lines about it, pick your top songs, and score the tracks if you want to go deeper. Everything lands in your journal, newest first, so a year from now you can see what you were playing and what you thought of it. Pick four albums for your profile, the ones you want people to know you by, and keep a queue for what to hear next. Star an artist and their releases sit one tap from Home. Follow your friends to see what they've been rating. Their reviews sit under every album next to yours, so you can like the ones you agree with and say something in the comments. The chart shows what everyone's been playing this week. Cratedex is on the web too, at cratedex.com. It's free, with no ads and no tracking. Every review and comment can be reported, and anything that breaks the community rules comes down.
