ConfiCheck
Read full descriptionHide full description
ConfiCheck contains information about upcoming Java related conferences. If you either attend or speak at a conference, you can select it per conference. You can select 'All' conferences and it will show you all available conferences this year with the current month opened. When selecting 'Speaking', the app will only show you the conference where you will speak at. If a conference 'Call for Papers' is open, you will see a specific row that says 'CFP' that also contains the link to the call for papers and also the date the call for paper will end. This date will be colored depending on the days the cfp is still open. Each conference entry also contains a link to the website of the conference and a link that will open the location of the conference in the Apple Maps application. You can add your speaker info like name, bluesky account, bio and experiences (e.g. conferences you have spoken at) and share this information which is useful in the CfP process. The app allows you to add all your available sessions and keep track on where you proposed a session and what the state of the session is. You can also add conferences to your calendar.

One tap, and your computer wakes up. MagicPing wakes PCs, Macs, NAS boxes, and servers on your home network via Wake-on-LAN β from your iPhone, your Mac, your Apple TV, and your Apple Watch. And when you're done, MagicPing shuts them down again over SSH. BUILT FOR THE LIVING ROOM The Apple TV launcher starts your gaming PC right from your television β before you stream via Moonlight/Sunshine or Steam Link. MagicPing even shows you when the streaming service is ready to accept connections. YOUR COMPUTERS, EVERYWHERE Enter a computer once and it appears on all your devices: the list syncs through iCloud β no account, no sign-up, no server run by us. WHAT MAGICPING DOES β’ Wake computers with a magic packet (Wake-on-LAN) β’ Live status: see who is online β and since when β’ Shut down over SSH (Linux, macOS, and Windows with OpenSSH) β’ Apple Watch: wake machines right from your wrist β’ Apple TV: the fastest way from couch to running gaming PC β’ Probe port selectable or automatic (Sunshine, RDP, SSH, SMB) β’ Type MAC addresses without colons β MagicPing formats as you type PRIVATE BY DESIGN MagicPing collects no data. Your computer list lives in your private iCloud; SSH passwords are stored only in the keychain. No ads, no tracking, no accounts. GOOD TO KNOW Wake-on-LAN must be enabled on the target machine (BIOS/UEFI and network adapter). Shutting down requires SSH access to the target. iCloud sync requires a signed-in iCloud account.
