MagicPing

One tap, and your computer wakes up. MagicPing wakes PCs, Macs, NAS boxes, and servers on your home network via Wake-on-LAN β from your iPhone, your Mac, your Apple TV, and your Apple Watch. And when you're done, MagicPing shuts them down again over SSH. BUILT FOR THE LIVING ROOM The Apple TV launcher starts your gaming PC right from your television β before you stream via Moonlight/Sunshine or Steam Link. MagicPing even shows you when the streaming service is ready to accept connections. YOUR COMPUTERS, EVERYWHERE Enter a computer once and it appears on all your devices: the list syncs through iCloud β no account, no sign-up, no server run by us. WHAT MAGICPING DOES β’ Wake computers with a magic packet (Wake-on-LAN) β’ Live status: see who is online β and since when β’ Shut down over SSH (Linux, macOS, and Windows with OpenSSH) β’ Apple Watch: wake machines right from your wrist β’ Apple TV: the fastest way from couch to running gaming PC β’ Probe port selectable or automatic (Sunshine, RDP, SSH, SMB) β’ Type MAC addresses without colons β MagicPing formats as you type PRIVATE BY DESIGN MagicPing collects no data. Your computer list lives in your private iCloud; SSH passwords are stored only in the keychain. No ads, no tracking, no accounts. GOOD TO KNOW Wake-on-LAN must be enabled on the target machine (BIOS/UEFI and network adapter). Shutting down requires SSH access to the target. iCloud sync requires a signed-in iCloud account.
SayBoot

SayBoot turns on the computer you left off. One sentence to Alexa, one tap on your phone, or simply you walking in the door: SayBoot sends the wake signal to your computer and tells you how it went. No router to configure. The app requires a SayBoot Premium subscription, with a 7-day free trial. WHAT YOU CAN DO β’ Turn your computers on and off from the app, wherever you are β’ Sleep, hibernate or restart, whenever the computer allows it β’ Keep awake: stop a computer from dozing off for as long as you choose β’ Schedules: power on and off at a set time, on the days you pick β’ Places: your computer is on and waiting when you arrive, and sleeps when you leave β’ Notifications: turned on, still on after hours, signal that did not get through β each with the right action a thumb away β’ Activity: the history of every wake and every command β’ Groups: several computers on together, with a single tap β’ Alexa: the same computers also answer to your voice YOU NEED AN ALEXA DEVICE To turn a computer on you need an Echo device, powered on and connected to the same network as that computer: it is the Echo that sends the wake signal over the local network. Another room is fine, as long as it is the same network; another home or office is not. Without an Echo on that network, the computer will not turn on. HOW IT WORKS You need a computer running the SayBoot agent: Windows, Linux, a Synology NAS or macOS (beta)*. You link it once with the six-digit code the app shows you. The Windows agent comes from the Microsoft Store, the others from sayboot.com. The computer needs Wake-on-LAN enabled in the BIOS and on the network card: the app walks you through it, step by step, in your language. SayBoot sends the wake signal; the outcome depends on the computer and the network, and the app always tells you what happened. SUBSCRIPTION SayBoot Premium is a single yearly plan with a 7-day free trial where available; you see the price in the app before you confirm. Launch price for those who get in early, locked for 3 years: then it goes up. One plan only: every feature, all your computers, and it counts on the website and with Alexa too. The subscription renews automatically every year at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, from your App Store account settings. When the trial ends without a subscription the app stays read-only: you still see your computers and their status, and nothing is lost. PRIVACY Places are recognized on the phone: the position your phone detects never leaves it. What reaches the server is the "you arrived" or "you left" event, and the center of the place you picked yourself, saved so you find the same rule on all your devices. You can revoke the permission at any time. No ads, no profiling, no marketing notifications. Privacy policy: https://sayboot.com/app/privacy/ Terms of use: https://sayboot.com/app/terms/ Support: https://sayboot.com/en/ β hello@sayboot.com * macOS (beta): βAlexa, turn onβ wakes the Mac only from sleep and with the power adapter connected; from powered off it isn't possible, an Apple limitation. Scheduled power-on works even from off.
