PC Controller turns your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch into a remote control for your Windows PC or Mac. Move the mouse, type, change the volume, switch monitors, move files and put the computer to sleep, all over your own Wi-Fi, with no cloud, no account and nothing to sign up for. Install the free agent on your computer, scan the QR code it shows, and you're paired. The app also lists the computers it finds on your network, so there's nothing to type. TRACKPAD AND KEYBOARD β€’ A full-screen trackpad: move, tap, two-finger right-click, scroll, drag and pinch to zoom β€’ Type with the iPhone keyboard, emoji and dictation included β€’ An extended keypad with the keys a phone doesn't have: arrows, Esc, Tab, Home, End, Delete, Ctrl, Alt and Win β€’ Build your own shortcuts and fire any key combination with one tap β€’ On Windows it all works on the login screen too, before anyone has signed in POWER β€’ Lock, sleep, wake, shut down, restart or log off β€’ Wake a sleeping PC over Wake-on-LAN, and let the app set up the PC so it wakes from a full shutdown too β€’ Schedule it: "Sleep in 30 minutes" keeps counting down on the computer after you've left, with a live countdown on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island β€’ Set your home once and the phone can wake the PC as you arrive and lock it as you leave, decided entirely on the device SOUND AND MEDIA β€’ Master volume and mute, plus a mixer with its own slider for every app and every output device β€’ Switch the default speaker, and mute the microphone for every app at once β€’ See what's playing, with album art, a scrubber and transport controls that drive Spotify, browsers and any other player SCREENS β€’ Turn each monitor on or off, choose the primary, and set brightness, resolution and refresh rate β€’ Save a display arrangement and bring it back with one tap β€’ Grab a screenshot of any display and save it to Photos or share it FILES AND CLIPBOARD β€’ Browse the computer's folders and drives, download files with live progress, then preview, share or save them β€’ Send photos, videos and files to the computer, from the app or straight from the share sheet in any other app β€’ Push the phone's clipboard to the PC or pull the PC's to the phone, text or image β€’ Send a link and it opens in the computer's browser AND MORE β€’ Bluetooth: see what's paired and connected, then connect, disconnect, scan and pair β€’ Vitals: CPU, memory, disk, battery, uptime and the processes using the most memory, with a swipe to end one β€’ Apps: see what's open on the computer, bring one forward, minimize or close it β€’ Siri: "Hey Siri, lock my PC", plus Home Screen, Lock Screen and Control Center buttons for Lock, Wake, Mute and Mute Mic β€’ Apple Watch: trackpad, media, power, monitors, mixer, shortcuts and clipboard on your wrist, and it finds the PC on its own when the phone isn't around β€’ iPad: a dashboard that puts the whole machine on one screen β€’ Available in 15 languages PRIVATE BY DESIGN There is no server. The phone and watch talk directly to the agent on your computer over your Wi-Fi, VPN or Bluetooth, and the pairing token lives in your Keychain. PC Controller collects nothing: no analytics, no telemetry, no account. WHAT YOU NEED The free PC Controller agent, for Windows 11 or macOS 13 and later, from https://pccontroller.rymanit.com. About

SayBoot

SayBoot turns on the computer you left off. One sentence to Alexa, one tap on your phone, or simply you walking in the door: SayBoot sends the wake signal to your computer and tells you how it went. No router to configure. The app requires a SayBoot Premium subscription, with a 7-day free trial. WHAT YOU CAN DO β€’ Turn your computers on and off from the app, wherever you are β€’ Sleep, hibernate or restart, whenever the computer allows it β€’ Keep awake: stop a computer from dozing off for as long as you choose β€’ Schedules: power on and off at a set time, on the days you pick β€’ Places: your computer is on and waiting when you arrive, and sleeps when you leave β€’ Notifications: turned on, still on after hours, signal that did not get through β€” each with the right action a thumb away β€’ Activity: the history of every wake and every command β€’ Groups: several computers on together, with a single tap β€’ Alexa: the same computers also answer to your voice YOU NEED AN ALEXA DEVICE To turn a computer on you need an Echo device, powered on and connected to the same network as that computer: it is the Echo that sends the wake signal over the local network. Another room is fine, as long as it is the same network; another home or office is not. Without an Echo on that network, the computer will not turn on. HOW IT WORKS You need a computer running the SayBoot agent: Windows, Linux, a Synology NAS or macOS (beta)*. You link it once with the six-digit code the app shows you. The Windows agent comes from the Microsoft Store, the others from sayboot.com. The computer needs Wake-on-LAN enabled in the BIOS and on the network card: the app walks you through it, step by step, in your language. SayBoot sends the wake signal; the outcome depends on the computer and the network, and the app always tells you what happened. SUBSCRIPTION SayBoot Premium is a single yearly plan with a 7-day free trial where available; you see the price in the app before you confirm. Launch price for those who get in early, locked for 3 years: then it goes up. One plan only: every feature, all your computers, and it counts on the website and with Alexa too. The subscription renews automatically every year at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the period, from your App Store account settings. When the trial ends without a subscription the app stays read-only: you still see your computers and their status, and nothing is lost. PRIVACY Places are recognized on the phone: the position your phone detects never leaves it. What reaches the server is the "you arrived" or "you left" event, and the center of the place you picked yourself, saved so you find the same rule on all your devices. You can revoke the permission at any time. No ads, no profiling, no marketing notifications. Privacy policy: https://sayboot.com/app/privacy/ Terms of use: https://sayboot.com/app/terms/ Support: https://sayboot.com/en/ β€” hello@sayboot.com * macOS (beta): β€œAlexa, turn on” wakes the Mac only from sleep and with the power adapter connected; from powered off it isn't possible, an Apple limitation. Scheduled power-on works even from off.
