Remember what they’d love — and the gifts that meant something to you. The Gift Journal is a private journal for thoughtful gifting: a calm place to keep ideas, hints, preferences, occasions and the details that make a gift feel considered. Built around people, not products, it helps you remember what someone mentioned months ago, save inspiration while browsing, prepare for important occasions, and build a meaningful history of the gifts you give, receive and remember for others. THINK FROM WHAT YOU ALREADY KNOW • Help me think brings together hints, preferences, interests, practical details and gift history already in your journal. • Suggestions explain why they surfaced, with cautions for possible repeats and known traditions. • Dislikes and Avoid gifting steer suggestions away from the wrong direction. • Protected items never participate in Thoughtful Inspiration. REMEMBER THE LITTLE THINGS • Keep a lasting profile for each person, including birthdays, relationships, preferences, practical details and notes. • Practical details can keep previous values when something genuinely changes, while corrections avoid creating false history. • Capture Gift Ideas and Hints with photos, links, prices and context. • Keep a history of gifts you’ve given, received, and meaningful gifts another person received. • Remember who gave a received gift, when and why. • Keep a private Wishlist for yourself. CAPTURE FIRST, FILL IN LATER • Create an Idea or Hint from a photo without needing a product link. • Capture while offline and add the rest later. • Turn a Hint into an Idea while keeping its original “Inspired by…” connection. SAVE IDEAS WHILE YOU BROWSE • Save products and pages from Safari on Mac with Save to The Gift Journal. • Review Browser Saves later and turn them into a Gift Idea or Wishlist item. PLAN WITHOUT THE PRESSURE • See upcoming occasions and gentle readiness cues in Today. • Plan birthdays, Christmas, weddings, anniversaries and custom occasions. • Track optional budgets, planned gifts, actual spend and remaining amounts. • Remember arrival dates, tracking, return dates and where a gift is stored. • Set discreet, privacy-safe reminders. FIND THINGS FASTER • Filter People by My circle, Gift givers, All people, With ideas or With hints. • Optional Spotlight integration can open supported people and saved records from system search. • App Shortcuts provide quick access to Quick Capture, Wishlist and people. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Local-first and useful offline. • Optional private iCloud sync across your Apple devices. • Protect Gift Ideas, Hints and Wishlist items with device authentication. • Preview exactly what you share, with sensitive details off by default. • “Stored at” stays private and is excluded from notifications, system search, widgets and ordinary sharing. • Create full backups and export a portable copy of your journal. • No ads, behavioural-data monetisation or proprietary account required for core use. MADE FOR YOUR APPLE DEVICES • iPhone, iPad and Mac for capture, planning, organisation and remembering. • Apple Watch for quick voice capture and reminder continuity. • Choose from four visual themes. • Available in English, German, Spanish and Portuguese (Portugal). ONE PURCHASE. NO RECURRING SUBSCRIPTION. Download free and explore the complete app for 14 days. Full Unlock is a one-time in-app purchase across iPhone, iPad and Mac. Private iCloud sync is included. The Gift Journal becomes more valuable over time: a quiet record of what people love, what changed, what worked before, what you’ve received, what others received, and what might delight someone next.
