Pocket 2110 is a professional NMOS routing controller built for broadcast engineers working with SMPTE ST 2110 IP networks. Discover devices, route signals, schedule routes ahead of time, and visualise your entire signal flow โ all from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. AUTOMATIC DEVICE DISCOVERY Pocket 2110 uses Bonjour/mDNS to automatically discover NMOS nodes on your local network. No manual IP configuration needed โ just open the app and your ST 2110 senders and receivers appear instantly. Pull-to-refresh keeps your device list current as equipment comes online or goes offline. ONE-TAP SIGNAL ROUTING Route any source to any destination with a single tap. Pocket 2110 uses the NMOS IS-05 Connection Management API to stage and activate routes instantly โ including full SDP transport file handling. Clear routes just as easily, or select "None" to disconnect a destination. A live SDP status indicator shows whether each source has a valid manifest available. SCHEDULED ROUTING Plan routes ahead of time. Pick a source, destination, date and time, and Pocket 2110 will execute the route automatically when the scheduled time arrives. Media type tags (Video, Audio, Ancillary) help you identify sources at a glance. Schedule "None" to auto-clear a destination at a specific time. SIGNAL FLOW VISUALISATION See your entire SMPTE 2110 network as an interactive signal flow diagram. Draggable device nodes display senders and receivers, with bezier curves showing active connections between them. Tap any connection for full routing details. DEVICE INSPECTION Drill into any discovered NMOS node to explore its senders, receivers, and connection details. View and export raw SDP files directly from sender endpoints. ROUTE LOGGING & PDF EXPORT Every route action is logged with timestamp, source, destination, and result. Export your route log history as a PDF report โ perfect for documentation, troubleshooting, and handover. BUILT FOR ALL APPLE DEVICES Adaptive layout works beautifully on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (via Mac Catalyst). Sidebar navigation on larger screens, compact layout on iPhone. Dark interface designed for control rooms and low-light environments. PRIVACY FIRST Pocket 2110 operates entirely on your local network. No data is collected, no analytics, no tracking, no ads. Your network stays your network. Pocket 2110 communicates with NMOS IS-04 (Discovery & Registration) and IS-05 (Connection Management) APIs over your local network. Equipment must support NMOS and advertise via mDNS for automatic discovery. Pocket 2110 was tested on Blackmagic Design products
NetProbeX

NetProbeX shows you what's actually on your network โ not just that a device exists, but what it's running and what it's exposing. WHY NETPROBEX Most network scanners tell you "a device is here" and stop. NetProbeX goes further: tap any open port and see the exact raw data the service sends back, in hex and ASCII, just like a professional network tool. No other consumer scanner shows you this. Everything runs on your device. There's no account to create, no cloud backend, and nothing about your network is ever sent anywhere except the one optional, manual public-IP check you can trigger yourself. WHAT YOU CAN DO โข Discover every device on your Wi-Fi โ routers, phones, laptops, printers, smart speakers, cameras โ with real names via mDNS/Bonjour, not just IP addresses. โข Raw Response Inspector โ tap an open port and see the exact bytes the service returns. Copy it, export it, or send your own custom probe. โข Hidden Camera Finder โ scan for exposed RTSP/DVR camera ports, the kind hidden cameras and unsecured IP cameras commonly leave open. โข Router Vulnerability Check โ a read-only look at whether your router has UPnP, NAT-PMP, or Telnet left open, the three most common home-router misconfigurations. โข Real diagnostics โ actual ICMP ping and traceroute (not an approximation), DNS lookup, and an internet speed test. โข Wake on LAN โ save a device's MAC once and wake a sleeping PC or NAS on demand. โข Rename, label, and hide devices โ keep notes on a busy network so you can identify the culprit fast if something causes a slowdown or an IP conflict. โข Save scans and revisit them anytime. HONEST ABOUT WHAT IT CAN'T DO Apple restricts what any app โ including NetProbeX โ can see about other devices' real hardware (MAC) addresses, as a privacy protection. NetProbeX respects this rather than trying to work around it: device identification relies on network behavior, hostnames, and mDNS names, which is what makes NetProbeX reliable where other scanners overpromise. Built for anyone who's ever wondered "what is that device on my network?" โ from home users curious about their smart devices to IT-minded people managing a busy office Wi-Fi.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: NetProbeX at none against Pocket 2110's 1. NetProbeX also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). Pocket 2110's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
