Know the zone before you drive it. WMU Insights is a field reference for Alberta hunters: which Wildlife Management Unit you are standing in, what the province's own harvest records say about it, what is open by species and sex, and today's legal shooting light — with no account, no tracking and no signal required. REAL HARVEST ODDS Success rates by zone, species and sex, straight from Alberta's own hunter harvest survey. Zones shade by the actual number — never an invented "hunt score". Compare any two zones side by side. WHO OWNS THE GROUND Tap any point on the map: every grazing lease, PLUZ, recreation area, reserve, park and Green Area covering it — including the leaseholder's listed phone number. Save a whole zone's lease contacts before you leave the pavement and they all work with no bars. THE TAGS PEOPLE MISS Every season by species and sex, draw odds before you apply, and the over-the-counter extras — antlerless whitetail zones, second-bear zones, the earliest openers for bow and rifle, seasons that run into winter. PINS, TRAILS AND WIND Mark stands, gates, rubs and cameras with notes and photos. Record a breadcrumb trail with distance, time, pace and climb, and follow it back out. A live wind sliver shows where your scent is carrying. Point-me walks you straight to any pin. Everything stays on your phone. ALWAYS VERIFY This app is not the law. Seasons, boundaries and rules change — always confirm against the current Alberta Guide to Hunting Regulations before you hunt.
