IOTOX Algorithm vs SABCS by Coe Truman Tech Inc.

Immunotherapies have become essential in treating advanced malignancies. However, immunotherapies can attack healthy cells, leading to toxicities or side effects. To address how to best treat patients with these toxicities, the Internal Medicine division has collaborated with the Cancer Medicine division, as well as other divisions at MD Anderson, to create the Immuno-Oncology Toxicity (IOTOX) Leaders Group. ​​​​​​​ Clinical management algorithms depict best practices for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating specific conditions that arise during the course of cancer treatment. These algorithms are not intended to replace the independent medical judgment of the physician in the context of individual clinical circumstances to determine a patient's care.

The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium® is the world’s largest and most important symposium dedicated to the experimental biology, etiology, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of breast cancer and premalignant breast disease. More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the 2025 Symposium, the 48th annual event. This year’s SABCS® is scheduled for December 9-12, 2025, in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Attendees are an international audience of academic and private physicians and researchers from more than 100 countries.
