Bask Light Meter vs Botanly

With Bask Light Meter, you can use your device's camera to measure light to help you place your house plants where they will thrive.

Botanly — Your Smart Plant Companion Meet Botanly, the plant care app that grows with you. Whether you have one cactus on a windowsill or an entire indoor jungle, Botanly keeps every plant thriving with smart reminders, AI identification, and personalised care advice. SNAP, IDENTIFY & SAVE IN SECONDS Just photograph a plant — Botanly's AI recognises the species in seconds, suggests a name, and builds a complete care profile automatically. Pick from multiple matches or enter the species manually if you know your plant already. NEVER MISS A WATERING Your dashboard shows exactly which plants need water today, which are healthy, and which are overdue — at a glance. Get push notifications or email reminders before any plant goes thirsty. Quiet hours keep alerts out of your sleep schedule. AI PLANT ASSISTANT, ALWAYS IN YOUR CORNER Every plant gets its own chat with an AI plant expert. Ask anything: why are the leaves turning yellow? Can I water today? What should I do right now? The assistant answers based on your specific plant, its care history, and photos you share — up to 5 per day. HEALTH CHECKS POWERED BY AI Upload a photo and get an instant AI health analysis. Botanly spots potential issues — overwatering, pests, nutrient deficiencies — and tells you exactly what to do. A full health check history lets you track improvement over time. PERSONALISED CARE RECOMMENDATIONS Each plant in your collection comes with tailored guidance: ideal soil and moisture, light requirements, watering frequency, fertilising schedule, toxicity info, and interesting facts about the species. TIPS OF THE DAY Seasonally relevant, AI-powered plant advice updated every week — from spring repotting to winter lighting adjustments — so you always know what your plants need right now.
