Vallio

Vallio starts with you, not the venue. Keep score on any court, find somewhere to play, run a league from your phone, and earn a rating from matches you actually played. Playing is free, forever. ON THE COURT • Keep score in singles or doubles. Serve, side-out and faults handled for you • Score from your wrist — Apple Watch and Wear OS, in sync with the phone • Substitutions and timeouts, tracked rather than improvised • Settle first serve with the in-app coin toss • Closing Shot — a branded card of how the match ended, over your own photo COURTS AND VENUES • Every venue near you, on a map or a list • Place your paddle to join the queue for a court, and get told when you're up • The people waiting vote on whether the next match is singles or doubles • Surface, lighting, nets, parking, reviews and community photos • Works at any venue, whatever software they already use — or none at all EVENTS AND LEAGUES • Round robin, pool play into a bracket, king of the court, ladders • An event runs and finishes. A league plays out over a season with standings • Registration, waitlists and join codes • Announcements and a calendar, so a season stops living in a group chat • Anyone can host — one wizard builds it, you run it from the court PADDLERANK Your rating moves after every match with a real opponent. Points come from what you scored plus a win bonus, multiplied by where you played and who you beat. Not self-reported, and not ELO — it rewards showing up and playing well, not just who you happened to face. COMMUNITY Posts with multiple photos, reposts, comments and hashtags. Groups for your regular crew, with chat and a roster. Follow players, venues, events and leagues. Private profiles, follow requests, blocking and reporting. OVER 100 ACHIEVEMENTS Badges from your first match to the ones almost nobody earns, plus challenges that refresh and long-run milestones. All free, all worth PaddleRank. CHAMPION Playing is free. Champion is the reading of it — the numbers behind your game. • Every stat on your Dashboard, and Trends showing which way you're moving • All six PaddleRank boards: Regular and Ranked, across Overall, Singles and Doubles • Your full match archive, back to your first game (free keeps 14 days) • Rivals in depth — the story behind the head-to-head record • Big Board — turn a phone or tablet sideways for a court-side scoreboard readable from the far baseline • Host bigger: 8 teams on 2 courts, three events and three leagues at once Champion is $14.99/month or $89.99/year, and a lifetime option is available. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; manage or cancel in your account settings. Any unused portion of a free period is forfeited when you subscribe. Dink Data is a pickleball match & stat tracker built to be used while you play. The score lives on your Apple Watch — two big buttons, one tap per point — and when you dump an easy ball into the net, one tap logs the error and the game moves on. Nobody waits. I built it because playing more wasn't making me better. At rec level, games are decided by unforced errors — points you give away, not points anyone earns. Once you can see that number, practice stops being random. COUNTS AS A WORKOUT • Start a match and your watch records the whole session as a pickleball workout — heart rate, active calories, and Activity rings, rest between matches included. One Health prompt on your iPhone, no separate fitness app to juggle. TRACK WHILE YOU PLAY • Live scoring on Apple Watch: two big buttons sized for sweaty hands • Score and stats on separate screens, one swipe apart • One-tap stat logging with one-tap undo • Works without the phone; everything syncs when you're back THE NUMBERS THAT MATTER • Win rate, record, streaks, and point differential — always with a trend • Unforced errors per game, and whether it's falling • Any window: this month, 30 or 90 days, this year, all time • Custom stats with your own names and icons FIX ANYTHING LATER • Add or edit any stat on any finished match, game by game • Nothing locks when the match ends PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no ads, no Health or location access • Your data stays on your devices and in your iCloud Free for your first 14 days, then a subscription. No app teaches you a third-shot drop - but this one tells you whether it's working. Terms of Use: https://dinkdata.app/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://dinkdata.app/privacy.html

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Pickleball at every 2 days against Vallio's every 4 months. Vallio's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
