We’re building a new way to use the internet. ClearMind is the first tool that lets you design exactly how you want to use your device, giving you control over the digital world for the first time. ClearMind is more than an app blocker, or a gamified screen time tracker - with it, you are getting the chance to define what your tool is for. **WHY CLEARMIND IS DIFFERENT** With all other screen time apps, you block distractions during certain hours so you can focus. They take the approach that you need to schedule time to be focused. Fundamentally, they imply that the default mode is distraction, and that to get rid of distraction you need to block it during certain hours so you can focus. Simply put - we believe that is backwards. With ClearMind, you do not schedule time to focus, you schedule time to be distracted. **HOW TO USE CLEARMIND** You select the apps that you want to use on your device, all others are shielded. A timer tracks how long you remain in clarity, using only your allowed apps. When you want to take a break, simply reset your clarity & enable the blocked apps Extra Features: You can set limits on breaks, how often or how long. You can schedule apps to be allowed during set times, or on set days. You can track concurrent streaks, or daily time. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: ClearMind at 100% against Brainrot's 18%. ClearMind also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Brainrot's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 4) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Brainrot sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and ClearMind sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ClearMind holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brainrot has 22K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Brainrot's written reviews are positive against 100% of ClearMind's.
Brainrot ships an update every 6 days, ClearMind every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
