I kept seeing ads for this popping up on my YouTube with this guy talking about how the setup for doomscrolling was built like slot machines and how bad it was for you. Every time I’d see these ads I’d feel so bad and switch off my phone until I thought, hey why not just get the app. I thought it was a scam at first but turns out it was amazing and so legit. I was excited to reduce my screen time and set it all up. But when it got up to the end of the setup process it brought me to a paying subscription screen. Don’t get me wrong, it was super cheap and 100% affordable, only $0.95 a week, but I wish it was free because I’m honestly not paying to spend an hour less on my phone daily.

It’s doing a good job. It’s tying me to the mast to save me from this siren of technology!
I have severe disabilities and it’s pushed me into digital addiction. I don’t have money to blow on things that might work. The fact that I can’t even try this app is ridiculous and perpetuating inequity.
Very good
It’s not free you have to pay for it to work
To use, you must pay. This should have been apparent even before download and tagged as a Paid App. There is no option to get any free features to try out. Once I found out, I uninstalled.
is not free. that's not good.
So far so good!! it really is making me think about do i really need to open certain apps....then on down time knowing id need to "have a chat with my brain" means im already reaching for my phone less and less..a lot of fun...more than just "put in a passcode to enter app". This really triggers a thought on whether you actually need to use an app or not. Be honest with the apps taking up most of your time and this app will help with the rest :)

This app really helps you reach your screen time goals.
It is fun, but it’s like spring more
When I first got this app and I went through all the procedures then it just put me on a screen to get a subscription and I pressed the X button and guess what it said hey you can get 50 off forever like it doesn’t work like the only way it works is if you pay so i would recommend you to buy brain time instead of brainrot app

I get you are trying to limit people’s screen time but you shouldn’t charge £29.99 to do so. If you want to do something good for the people you should do it for free. Still a good thought though.
all these apps make you pay for something that shouldn’t cost money.
ridiculous this should be free. so tierd of ads saying it’s “free” then needing a subscription
The idea of this app is Fantastic but execution with having to pay to access just ruined the whole thing. I wanna use this to be focused on my college work but cannot cause I’m a broke college student. Why not make a good thing free when you know it will help? If there’s no option to not pay, why not just make it an obvious payment for purchase? Don’t download if you don’t have extra money to spend on subscriptions. Waste of space on your phone atp.

Literally bro, make the app 10 bucks no subscription, what the
if you want to use a single feature of this app you will have to sign up for a subscription service. I am sick and tired of apps pretending like they are free just to hide everything behind an overpriced paywall. it’s pathetic and disingenuous marketing. be better
This app is incredibly useful and a marvelous idea. However, I often experience a seeming glitch on my screen time. Sometimes it claims I’ve spent two hours on my phone when I’ve only spent one. It’s just a little annoying.
There’s no free things to “help” you. It’s all paid memberships and I bet this bs app doesn’t even work. Don’t even waste your time downloading it.
Okay. I know that companies always optimize profit but this is just lying. As soon as I was about to start using the app, BOOM! Dead end payment you have to do. The ad even said it was non-profit. Lies. ⚠️DO NOT GET THIS APP!⚠️
