uBO Lite (uBOL) is a reliable and efficient content blocker. The default ruleset corresponds to uBlock Origin's default filterset: - uBlock Origin's built-in filter lists - EasyList - EasyPrivacy - Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list You can enable more rulesets by visiting the options page -- click the _Cogs_ icon in the popup panel. uBOL is entirely declarative, meaning there is no need for a permanent uBOL process for the filtering to occur, and CSS/JS injection-based content filtering is performed reliably by the browser itself rather than by the extension. This means that uBOL itself does not consume CPU/memory resources while content blocking is ongoing -- uBOL's service worker process is required _only_ when you interact with the popup panel or the option pages.

Have you ever wondered how long your battery will really last? PowerGlass turns your battery percentage into a live time-remaining prediction, based on how you actually use your devices. By learning your real-world usage patterns — on Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad — it shows you exactly how many hours you have left. Your battery drain isn't constant, and neither is your lifestyle. PowerGlass continuously adapts as your habits change, keeping its predictions accurate as your routine evolves. On your Apple Watch • A live countdown in hours, learned from your own usage • An energy bar showing the hours left against what a full charge is worth • The day and time you'll need to charge, and your average drain • Your day hour by hour, so you can see which hours cost you the most • Battery history, and a forecast of where it's heading • A five-week trend of your daily average • See exactly how it learned: the calculation behind every learning event • Keeps learning while you're not looking — you don't need to open it • Complications for any face: gauge, simple gauge, corner, inline, and two rectangular styles • Customisable data fields for the rectangular complications • Build your own main page — pick the layout, then choose the metric in every slot • Five colour palettes for the graphs • Low Power Mode is learned separately, so the estimate stays right when you switch • 23 awards for steady habits and learning milestones • Choose how fast it adapts to changes in your routine On your iPhone and iPad • A live countdown in hours, learned from your own usage • An energy bar showing the hours left against what a full charge is worth • The day and time you'll need to charge, and your average drain • Your day hour by hour, so you can see which hours cost you the most • Battery history, and a forecast of where it's heading • A record of every charge and how much it added • See exactly how it learned: the calculation behind every learning event • Keeps learning while you're not looking — you don't need to open it • Widgets for the Home Screen and the Lock Screen • Built for the iPad's screen, in any orientation • Choose how fast it adapts to changes in your routine The more you use it, the sharper it gets. Note: In Low Power Mode, Apple Watch restricts background app refresh. To keep learning accuracy, open the app occasionally while you're in that mode.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: uBlock Origin Lite at Free against PowerGlass's $2.99. uBlock Origin Lite also leads on review sentiment (78% vs 50%) and ratings volume (960 vs 5). PowerGlass's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

uBlock Origin Lite is free to download; PowerGlass costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
PowerGlass holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uBlock Origin Lite has 960 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of uBlock Origin Lite's written reviews are positive against 50% of PowerGlass's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
uBlock Origin Lite ships an update weekly, PowerGlass every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
