Hebrew Worship
Read full descriptionHide full description
Hebrew Worship is an app allowing you to learn Hebrew (or just understand it for a start) without studying, by watching Jewish liturgy videos. So you can listen to beautiful cantorial music and learn Hebrew in the process, without studying by rote. It provides translation time-synchronized word-to-word. The app keeps track of the words you know. Words that you need to learn are color-coded to get you immediate visual association between Hebrew and English words. Other words have color underline: green, if you already know it, or red, suggesting that you can learn it later. If you miss a word or need more time to read a line, tap the video - it will repeat the line in a loop until you tap again. Seamless music loops help you master difficult passages. Selecting Quiz in Settings (available on the video screen) gets you a quick quiz after each stanza to reinforce learning. The quiz takes just a few seconds, to minimize interrupting the experience. Once you guess a word correctly in a quiz, the word becomes green, is considered known. You can also tap any word and change its color manually. You can add words to your word list by tapping a word and tapping the star icon on the dictionary popup. In addition to in-video quizzes, you can train vocabulary with flashcards and multiple choice questions. As in in-video quizzes, three right guesses in multiple choice questions make the word known. You can do these exercises both in a video and in your word list.

Bible Changes — Explore the Text Behind the Text Most Bible apps show you one version of the text. Bible Changes shows you how that text came to be — and how it has varied across the manuscripts that scholars have studied for centuries. This is a scholarly Bible-study tool for anyone curious about textual criticism: the study of how biblical manuscripts differ, where variants appear, and what the evidence actually shows. Whether you're a student, teacher, pastor, or simply a curious reader, Bible Changes opens up a side of Scripture most people never see. What you can explore: Thousands of documented verse variants, drawn from the manuscript tradition, with clear notes on what differs and why it matters. Guided study paths that walk you through the most significant textual variants, one step at a time. Greek and Hebrew word studies, with etymology and original-language insight to help you dig beneath the translation. An archaeology section covering discoveries relevant to the biblical world — from confirmed finds to disputed claims and outright hoaxes — with the evidence for and against each. Ancient parallels that place biblical passages alongside related texts from the surrounding cultures. In-depth analysis for individual verses, including manuscript witnesses, historical timelines, and scholarly context. Grounded in real scholarship — with AI to go deeper: The core content is grounded in established academic sources and the scholarly consensus, so you can trust where the information comes from. For those who want to explore further, an optional AI-assisted analysis lets you generate additional commentary and context on demand — clearly presented as a supplement to, not a replacement for, the underlying scholarship. Built for real study: Personal study notes you can write, tag, export, and carry with you. Everything works fully offline — no account required. Your reading, notes, and saved material stay on your device. Bible Changes is a new app, actively developed and updated regularly. New content, subjects, and features are being added as it grows, and your feedback helps shape where it goes next. Approach Scripture with curiosity and honesty. Bible Changes gives you the tools to see the text — and its history — for yourself.
