Note: This version is free to download, allowing you to purchase individual rows of levels (Lines) as you go. If you prefer to unlock all 9 Lines at once with a single upfront payment, please check out our full version: Bloops! English Integral. Bloops! was created to learn to read with pleasure. This playful application was designed by two teachers who specialized in learning difficulties and troubles. Description of educational content: 1) Our learners will learn to read across the different levels. Our approach combined the evidence-based data including the science of reading with some of the fundamental principles of a speech therapy approach such as sound confusions. 2) Chronometer (optional) The chronometer allows the player to improve his reading time and improve his reading fluency. 3) Structured visual cue (energy vial) The energy vial indicates to the player the number of items successfully completed and the number of items remaining. Behind the monstrous Bloops! concept: Annie Lussier, B.Ed., developed the original pedagogical concept. Mrs. Lussier owns her own private learning support clinic (Clinique Apprendre!) and she has been working in the private sector for more than 20 years. She is also a board game author for Passe-Temps publishing. She gives conferences and workshops to teachers and parents. Manon Bellefleur, B.Ed. is the author of the English version of Bloops! She is currently completing her master degree in education specializing in learning difficulties and troubles. She has been teaching in the public sector for 16 years. She also worked as a co-author and pedagogical advisor for several publishing houses and as a research assistant at UQTR. Developed by two educational professionals, the progression of each level respects the stages of syllabic reading acquisition. Bloops! offers a fair, reasonable and motivating challenge that considers each learnerβs progress. The focus is primarily on recognizing simple sounds and words while addressing sound confusions. Bloops! combines the progression of English reading with certain fundamental principles of speech therapy. Parents and education specialists are interested in this playful educational application because it targets beginner and intermediate readers. It is also recommended for young learners with reading difficulties or disorders (e.g., dyslexia, autism, etc.). Game objective: The player must listen to the sounds or words given orally and identify the correct answer among the bubbles offered by the monsters. After 5 successes, the player earns a 5 seconds gameplay page and after 20 successes (vial filled), the player is led to discover a new monster with increased reading complexity. For the reading learners, the goal is to collect as many monsters as possible and improve their own time when replaying a monster! With Bloops!, learning to read becomes monstrously fun! NATO Alphabet

Spell any word out loud the way pilots, operators and support agents do β Alfa, Bravo, Charlie. Type a name, code or password and PhoneticAB instantly breaks it into the full NATO phonetic alphabet, then reads every code word back to you in a clear voice. Most "alphabet charts" stop at a static list you have to memorize alone. PhoneticAB is a translator, a voice and a trainer in one: it spells your real messages in real time, plays each letter aloud so you never mishear over a noisy line, and drills the code into memory with quizzes and a guided practice path until calling it out feels automatic. WHAT YOU GET - Instant spelling: type any name, code or word and see it broken down letter by letter into NATO code words - Spoken playback that reads every code word aloud, with an adjustable speed slider and your pick of English voice - Copy or share the finished phonetic breakdown in one tap, ready to paste into a message or read off a screen - Full reference for all 26 letters, digits 0-9 and procedure words like Mayday, Pan-Pan, Roger, Wilco, Over and Out - Three quiz modes: letter to code word, code word to letter, and hear-it-then-name-it audio rounds - A 7-stage practice path, a weak-spot drill built from your lowest-accuracy letters, and a mastery dashboard with heatmap, streak, level and XP PERFECT FOR - Pilots, cabin crew and student aviators learning radio calls - Ham and CB radio operators exchanging call signs - Call-center, IT and support staff reading out codes and confirmation numbers - Anyone who has to spell names and addresses clearly over the phone WHY NOT JUST MEMORIZE A PRINTED CHART? A chart can't talk, can't test you, and won't tell you which letters you still get wrong. PhoneticAB spells your actual words, says them aloud with real pronunciation hints like FOKS-trot and NIN-er, and turns memorization into short daily drills that stick. PRIVACY Everything runs on your device. There is no account to create, and your typed messages and practice progress stay on your iPhone. FULL ACCESS PhoneticAB is a paid app β full access to the translator, spoken playback, the complete alphabet and Field Guide, all quiz modes, the practice path, the weak-spot trainer and the mastery dashboard unlocks with a subscription or a one-time purchase. Choose a weekly or yearly subscription, or pay once for lifetime access. Practice as much as you like, with no daily limits. Type your first word and hear it spelled back in seconds.
