Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Mesq Proxy Utility holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Adios Alpha has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Mesq Proxy Utility's written reviews are positive against 73% of Adios Alpha's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mesq Proxy Utility ships an update every 3 weeks, Adios Alpha every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
