GeoBorder tells you exactly which jurisdictions govern any point on the map, and how far you are from the edge of each one. Tap anywhere to resolve the full stack: country, state, county, city, ZIP code, congressional district, federal judicial district, and metro area. Every result carries the distance and compass bearing to its nearest boundary, so you learn not just that you are standing in Fairfax County, but that the Loudoun County line sits 2.9 miles to your northwest. The real boundary geometry is drawn on the map rather than approximated. A compass is built in. Select any border and it points the way, with the map rotating as you turn so you can orient toward the line that matters to you. Zoom out far enough and the map becomes a globe that tilts with your phone. Boundaries come from public federal datasets, principally Census TIGER/Line. Every layer carries its source, vintage, and effective date, so any answer can be traced back to where it came from. Search an address or paste coordinates to begin. No account required. Built by MetaPhase.
