Smarter, faster preflight preparation. TAFHighlight gives pilots a clear, streamlined way to prepare with flight-specific TAFs, METARs, and NOTAMs. Enter a flight number or build your route manually - the app instantly retrieves and interrogates the data you need for your departure and arrival - covering up to six legs, including destination alternates and any other airports you require. TAFs are interrogated automatically, highlighting only the elements applicable to your actual departure and arrival times. METARs are included for a complete weather snapshot. The result: you see the essentials at a glance, saving valuable time and removing the stress of manually extracting and interpreting data. Active NOTAMs appear with keywords highlighted to enable a rapid scan, while inactive NOTAMs are automatically filtered and hidden to reduce clutter. The result is a faster, simpler, and more accurate preflight preparation. In seconds, you gain a clear, prioritised view of the data that matters most. The app works equally well without a flight number. Charter pilots, general aviation pilots and even students benefit from the same professional experience: rapid retrieval, smart time-based highlighting, and keyword-driven NOTAM summaries. Designed and tested by real pilots, TAFHighlight is built as a supplemental awareness tool to reduce workload and improve clarity. Whether you’re preparing for a long-haul airline sector or a short VFR trip, TAFHighlight helps you focus on what really matters, so you can prepare with confidence. From departure to arrival, clarity in seconds - download TAFHighlight today. StationWX turns raw ASOS and AWOS surface observations into clear, decoded aviation weather, and tells you when the station itself can't be trusted. THE STATION IS THE STORY Most weather apps stop at the METAR text. StationWX watches the stations: 2,668 U.S. ASOS and AWOS sites with live health status, maintenance-flag analysis, and decoded observations, plus NOAA 1-minute data for the 920 federally certified ASOS sites. Everything is fetched directly from NOAA, the National Weather Service, the Aviation Weather Center, and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. There is no backend server in between. SEE THE WEATHER, NOT THE CODE Every METAR is decoded into plain language: wind, gusts, visibility, ceiling, temperature, dewpoint, and altimeter, with the raw text one tap away. Stations are colored by flight category (VFR, MVFR, IFR, LIFR) so you can read an entire region at a glance. EVERYTHING INCLUDED • 2,668 U.S. weather stations: search by ICAO, IATA, FAA LID, name, or state • Flight-category map: VFR, MVFR, IFR and LIFR at a glance, clustered by worst conditions • Animated NEXRAD radar overlay right on the station map • Decoded METARs with full raw text • Live station status: online, flagged, and offline, with outage detection • 30-day history charts: temperature, dewpoint, wind, gusts, and pressure, with scrubbing • Maintenance-flag ($) analysis across observation history • SIGMETs and AIRMETs from the Aviation Weather Center • NWS severe weather alerts and weather news • Satellite imagery and space weather • Multi-station comparison and wind-rose visualization • Watchlist with Home Screen widgets and background alerts • Siri and Shortcuts support • PDF station reports • Spotlight search of your stations PAY ONCE, OWN IT $2.99 one time. No subscription, no account, no ads, no tracking, and no data collected, ever. Every feature above is included, and so is every future update. FOR PILOTS, SPOTTERS, AND WEATHER PEOPLE Preflight situational awareness, storm spotting, mesonet watching, flight training, or plain curiosity about the weather where you live. StationWX is a situational-awareness tool for surface observations, advisories, and route weather. It is not a substitute for an official preflight weather briefing.
