You can't out-sell the luxury watch dealer market... You can only out-buy it! Luxury Watch Dealers all sell their timepieces for about the same number. The REAL profit margins come from what you paid! Pull real dealer-to-dealer wholesale before you take a watch in on trade or buy off a customer. WHO IT IS FOR Luxury watch dealers, brokers and traders. Anyone buying, taking watches in on trade, or quoting a consignment on high-end pieces. If you are building a personal collection, this is NOT for you. REAL WHOLESALE DEALS Every figure comes from dealer-to-dealer transactions and offers, never from public listing prices. You get low, median and high, plus the number of comps behind the range so you know how much weight it carries. That wholesale number is your floor: buy under it and there is always a wholesale out. PRICE AGAINST ONE REAL SALE A blended median is not always the right answer. Open a reference and read the individual sales behind the range. Tap any one of them and the calculator stops working off the median and prices the deal against that exact sale instead. The panel says which of the two you are reading, every time. WHAT DEALERS ARE HUNTING Comps tell you what a watch sold for. The hunters board tells you what the trade is trying to buy right now, which moves first. See how many different dealers asked for a reference in the last seven days, whether that is up or down on the week before, and which dials and bracelets they want. Dealer identities and original messages are never shown. PRICE A DEAL IN PLAIN ENGLISH Describe the trade the way you would say it out loud: a customer trades a 16570 toward a complete set. Every leg comes back priced, with the trade credit, the sale price and your estimated profit. Type the exact figure you were asked for and the margin works backward from it, because a dealer gets asked for $12,500, not for eleven percent. COMPARABLE, NOT AVERAGED Filter by dial, bracelet, condition and what is included, so a watch-only piece is never averaged against a complete set. Each slice carries its own comp count, because at this end of the market that difference is real money. 30-DAY TRENDS See which way a reference has moved over the last month before you commit. Movers are compared like for like, so nothing looks like it is cooling just because last month happened to be full sets. ALSO IN THE APP Rolex serial ranges and clasp codes, with where the engraving lives on each era. Your last ten references on the home screen. Eight display currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, CHF, JPY, HKD, AED and SGD. Face ID, so your numbers are not left open at a show. THE PHONE AND THE DESK The app is built for the floor: price a trade with the customer in front of you. Favorites, comparing four references side by side, branded client quotes and your client list are on the website, on this same account and subscription. Already a subscriber? Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: WatchCert at free against Watch Comps Pro's subscription. WatchCert also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1). Watch Comps Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. WatchCert sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Watch Comps Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Watch Comps Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WatchCert has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
WatchCert ships an update every 10 days, Watch Comps Pro weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
