Emly

Got an .eml file you can't open on your iPhone? Emly opens saved email messages and shows who sent them, what they say and every file attached — then lets you save or share those attachments. Tap Open an .eml File and pick it from Files, or open an .eml straight from another app. Emly reads the message on your iPhone in a moment. • THE HEADERS — Subject, From, To, Cc and Date, with encoded names and subjects decoded into readable text. • THE MESSAGE BODY — the plain-text version of the email; if the message only has HTML, Emly shows its text with the tags removed. You can select and copy the text. • EVERY ATTACHMENT — PDFs, images, documents, spreadsheets, calendar invites and any other files inside the message are listed with their names and sizes, including files in nested parts. • SAVE OR SHARE — save any attachment to Files or share it to another app. Save All Attachments sends every file to the share sheet at once. • WORKS WITH EXPORTED EMAIL — opens standard .eml (MIME) messages exported from mail apps, webmail or archives, with base64 and quoted-printable content. Honest scope: Emly is a reader, not a mail client — it can't send or reply. HTML emails are shown as plain text with their paragraphs and lists kept, so layout, pictures and links are not displayed. Text is decoded using the character set each message declares — UTF-8, Western, Japanese (ISO-2022-JP, Shift_JIS, EUC-JP) and many more. .msg files are not supported. Your email is opened on your iPhone only — nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Reading is free, with no limit. The free version saves or shares the first 3 attachments of each message; a one-time $4.99 purchase unlocks every attachment and Save All. No subscription, no ads. Questions: overlapmarr@gmail.com

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Emly at every 5 days against Ivy's every 10 days. Emly also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
