Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ProTube at 4.8 against Stiktl's 1.0. ProTube also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ProTube sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Stiktl sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ProTube holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProTube has 16K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
ProTube ships an update weekly, Stiktl every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
