Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ProTube at 4.8 against Morphe Video Browser's 2.6. ProTube also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. ProTube sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Morphe Video Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ProTube holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ProTube has 16K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
ProTube ships an update weekly, Morphe Video Browser every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
