LevLr2 Dynamics Processor Plugin (AUv3) LevLr2 is an audio effect plugin that can run standalone, or in any AU compatible host application such as Logic Pro or GarageBand. To configure audio settings in standalone mode, tap the Settings button. Please note that the input will be muted by default to avoid nasty feedback! Overview The LevLr2 "leveller" is a dual stage compression and limiting processor with optional clipping stage. I created LevLr2 after receiving messages from people who really liked the simplicity of LevLr, but wanted a bit more control over its internal workings. LevLr2 combines two dynamics processors and has options to select ratios for both compression and limiting, and adds "parallel compression" plus hard and soft clipping functions. While LevLr2 isn't intended to replace your favourite mastering signal chain, it's relatively much lighter on CPU and adds virtually zero latency, so is also suitable for live use. The super fast attack times under the hood also makes LevLr2 great on drums, especially when using parallel compression. For a super-simple lightweight "mastering suite" you could partner LevLr2 with SimplEQ. LOOK AFTER YOUR EARS / SPEAKERS! LevLr2 can make things VERY LOUD, so please be careful with extreme / high values or when using the Randomize function! Controls Active - Toggles the effect On or Off. You can use this control to A/B your settings with the original signal and this will fade gradually between the two with no distracting pops or clicks! Comp - Activates the compressor stage by selecting a compression ratio. Typically lower values are more subtle. In - Determines how hard you drive the compressor. You can also think of this as the compressor threshold, so for example, at 6dB on the In slider, the threshold of the compressor will be -6dB. The compressor also applies makeup gain automatically based on restoring a 0dB level signal after it has been compressed. Mix - Sets the balance between the incoming and compressed audio. At zero, this will be the same as if the compressor was bypassed, and at 100% is the compressed signal only. A good parallel compression effect can be achieved by setting the Comp ratio and In high and the Mix to around 50%. Limit - Activates the limiter stage by selecting a limiter ratio. Typically lower values are more subtle and the highest value is close to "brick wall" limiting. In - Determines how hard you drive the limiter. You can also think of this as the limiter threshold, so for example, at 3dB on the In slider, the threshold of the limiter will be -3dB. The limiter also applies makeup gain automatically based on restoring a 0dB level signal after it has been limited. Clip - Adds an optional Soft or Hard clipper after compression and limiting. The clipping will be more noticeable once you've applied some compression and limiting and depending on the settings, can add subtle warmth to aggressive crunch! Out - Applies a final stage gain trim to the output at the very end of the internal signal chain. In theory, the LevLr2 output should never exceed 0dB, but if you're driving levels really hard, you may want to back this off to around -0.2dB to avoid inter-sample peaks (ISPs) further downstream when recording or mixing-down for example. • AUv3 plugin to modulate and sequence MIDI instruments and modular hardware • Outputs MIDI and analog CV simultaneously for integrated hybrid setups • Fully functional in software-only environments with full MIDI support • Converts LFOs, MIDI notes, pitch, and control changes into control voltages • Includes two LFO generators with random spline, cross-modulation and syncing • Integrated envelope follower to track audio input or sidechain signal • Six FLO(W) processors for combining and shaping signals with math and logic • Each FLO supports 18 inputs with individual polarity, divider and multiplier • Multi-out support, built-in waveform viewer, Audio FX, and MIDI FX • Advanced Responsive Design, portrait and landscape views • Universal Purchase: AUv3 for iOS (iPad/iPhone), macOS and Vision Pro FAC Polyflo is an AUv3 plugin for modulating and sequencing MIDI instruments and modular gear via control voltage. It outputs MIDI and analog CV simultaneously, making it well-suited for hybrid setups that combine digital and analog equipment. The plugin includes two LFO generators offering 10 waveforms, including classic shapes and random spline, with support for cross-modulation and syncing. It also features an envelope follower that tracks audio FX input or an external sidechain. The generated signals, together with the host clock and MIDI input, are fed into six independent FLO(W) processors. These processors combine, shape, and route inputs using math operations, conditional logic, and comparators. Each FLO includes individual polarity, division, and multiplication controls, providing deep and flexible modulation that balances chaotic creativity with precise timing. Each FLO processor output is connected to its own output bus, enabling easy integration with hardware via DC-coupled audio interfaces like the Expert Sleepers ES-9. For simpler setups, FLO outputs can be routed to the stereo output. FAC Polyflo can also convert MIDI notes, pitch, and control changes into control voltages, making it a powerful MIDI-to-CV solution. If you prefer to work exclusively with software, the plugin runs smoothly in software-only environments with full MIDI support, making it equally suited for purely digital workflows. FAC Polyflo works as both an Audio Unit FX and MIDI FX, featuring a clean, touch-optimized interface with precise control and waveform visualization. It’s available as an AUv3 for iOS (iPad/iPhone), macOS, and Vision Pro, and requires a compatible AUv3 host app to run. This is an AUv3 Effect and requires a compatible host to work The documentation is available at fredantoncorvest.com/FAC_Polyflo.html
