Renting out, without the paperwork. eIDRent keeps track of who has what, and until when. Your customer places their Belgian eID card on the reader, you pick what they are taking, and one scan closes the rental. No forms, no photocopied ID cards in a drawer. HOW IT WORKS 1. Rent out — pick the item from your catalogue and set the period. 2. Read the eID — name and address come straight off the card. No typing, no typos. 3. Scan on return — the customer gets a ticket with a QR code. Scan it and the rental is closed. WHAT YOU GET • See at a glance who is late. Red is overdue, yellow is nearly due. • Your whole team works from the same list. What goes in at the desk shows up on the iPad outside. • Your own catalogue, with a photo and a barcode per item. • A ticket straight from your receipt printer, with that rental's QR code on it. • Works on iPhone, iPad and Mac. In Dutch, French and English. YOUR CUSTOMER'S DATA DOES NOT LINGER The national register number is never stored. Personal details are erased as soon as the item comes back. What you keep is your rental history, not a file full of identity cards. Syncing runs over your own iCloud. There is no server of ours in between, and we never see your data. WHAT YOU NEED An eID card reader. A plain USB reader costs around 15 euro (Sitecom MD-1002, Xssive CR02). If you would rather work without cables, there are Bluetooth readers (Sipiro M BT, FEITIAN bR301BLE). NO SUBSCRIPTION The first 20 rentals are free, so you can find out in your own time whether this suits you. After that you unlock the app with a single purchase. No subscription, no account, no ads. Even without unlocking you keep access to your data: taking items back, printing and the history always work. Only creating new rentals needs the unlock. WHO IT IS FOR Go-kart tracks, bike hire, kayak and SUP, equipment hire, beach cabins, sports clubs — anywhere you hand something over and would like to see it again.
