Supanator is a native Supabase client for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Browse tables, run SQL on your PostgreSQL database, monitor every project and get a push notification the moment something goes down. DATABASE MANAGEMENT Browse schemas, tables and columns. View, add, edit and delete rows with an editor that understands data types and constraints. Explore table relationships in an interactive diagram and manage Row Level Security policies to keep your data secure. SQL EDITOR & QUERY BUILDER Run SQL directly against your database, from simple reads to complex updates. Save snippets, export results to CSV and get a warning before destructive operations. Prefer a visual approach? Use the built-in query builder instead of writing raw SQL. AGENTIC AI Get help writing SQL, designing schemas and creating RLS policies. The AI assistant understands your project structure and gives suggestions based on your actual database. REALTIME & MONITORING Watch live inserts, updates and deletes from your tables in real time. Track project health, database activity, API usage, CPU, memory, connections and logs. Review security and performance advisors. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS Get an alert when your project goes down, recovers or reports an unhealthy status. Choose which categories notify you: project health, database, auth, edge functions and storage. Monitoring runs on our servers, so alerts arrive even when the app is closed. STORAGE MANAGEMENT Browse buckets and folders, upload files from Files or Photos, preview images, PDFs and videos, and manage bucket permissions. AUTH & SECURITY Monitor users, manage identity settings and configure OAuth providers. View roles and privileges, and sign in with OAuth or a management token. Credentials are stored in the Keychain, with optional Face ID or Touch ID protection. SELF-HOSTED SUPPORT Connect to self-hosted Supabase alongside Supabase Cloud or instead of it. Works with the official Docker setup, Kubernetes, the Supabase CLI and custom Postgres. Advanced settings cover reverse proxies, self-signed certificates and basic auth. Your data stays where it is. EDGE FUNCTIONS, APIS & MORE Manage edge functions, secrets and environment variables. Browse triggers and database functions, read generated REST API docs with cURL and Swift examples, manage API keys and access backups with point-in-time recovery. APPLE WATCH Follow requests, auth, storage, database size and edge function invocations from your wrist. Browse tables and switch accounts, with offline caching. BUILT FOR IPHONE, IPHONE DUO, IPAD AND APPLE WATCH Adaptive layouts use the full inner display on iPhone Duo and the big screen on iPad. Basepanel is a private, easy-to-use app for connecting to and managing your databases right from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. Instead of dense tables and raw query editors, Basepanel presents your data as clean, readable cards so you can browse, edit, and understand your data without the usual friction. Connect to the databases you already use Add a database in seconds. Basepanel supports popular cloud providers like Neon, Supabase, Turso, Cloudflare D1, Planetscale, Prisma Postgres, custom Postgres and MySQL setups, and you can also create or import a local SQLite database of your own. You provide your credentials, and Basepanel connects directly to your database with no middleman. A friendlier way to work with data - Tables are shown as cards you can tap to explore. - Rows open into a clean, organized view of every column. - Editing is straightforward, and you can preview the exact query before anything runs. - Adding new rows uses the same simple interface. - Build custom dashboards to surface the data that matters most to you. - A full SQL console is always available when you want direct control. Work smarter on supported devices On supported iPhone, iPad, and Mac models with Apple Intelligence, Basepanel uses Apple's built-in AI models to make your data easier to work with. Simply describe what you need in plain language to instantly generate complete, working databases. You can also leverage the AI to construct complex queries for your dashboards and SQL console, and automatically build custom views perfectly optimized for your data types. All of this runs on your device. On models without on-device AI, Basepanel falls back to sensible defaults so the core experience stays smooth and complete. Built for privacy Privacy is at the center of how Basepanel is designed. The app is local first. The only network connections it makes are direct calls to the databases you choose to connect. There is no telemetry, no analytics, and no external servers handling or storing your data. Your credentials and your data stay on your device and go only to the database you point them at. Own your data If you create or import a local SQLite database, you can export the file at any time, making it easy to back up your work or deploy it to the cloud when you're ready. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Supanator at 4.8 against Basepanel's 4.5. Supanator also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 2) and chart position (#33 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Supanator sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Basepanel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Supanator holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Supanator has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Supanator ships an update every 2 weeks, Basepanel monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
