About

Melt Prices

Features

Melt Prices is the free catalog for what the metal in a coin is worth today. Search a name or a year — Morgan dollar, 1964 quarter, war nickel, gold sovereign. We use mint weight × fineness × live spot. That dollar figure is melt. It is not a collector price and not what a shop will pay. This app is not a web browser. 1.1 adds native Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, a native Bag melt calculator in the app toolbar, and Siri / Shortcuts for live spots. The catalog pages open inside Melt Prices. No account to browse. No in-app purchases. WIDGETS Small: live gold, silver, and copper. Medium: those plus 1964 quarter, Morgan, and Silver Eagle melts. Large: plus Kennedy half, war nickel, and Maple 1 oz gold. Lock Screen: gold and silver. Taps open the matching page in the app. BAG MELT Tap Bag melt in the native toolbar (always visible on iPhone and iPad). Type a 90% silver face value. Melt = face × 0.715 oz × live silver, computed on device. Works offline on the last spots snapshot. SHORTCUTS Ask Siri for gold, silver, a 1964 quarter, a Morgan dollar, or a $10 90% bag. TYPE PAGES Each type has the spec, live melt, and a flag when the coin usually sells above melt so you do not scrap the wrong piece. 90% SILVER Worn US dimes, quarters, halves, and dollars are figured at 0.715 oz silver per $1.00 face. MY STACK Add what you have. Totals stay on this device. Optional email if a melt or spot crosses a number you set. Melt is the metal floor — not Greysheet, not eBay, not a shop quote. Nearby shops come from CDXList when you enter a ZIP. Questions: meltprices.com · info@spotpro.us · +1 248-446-1445
